One day I’ve decided I need big painting for my wall. The size I wanted was 63″ x 63″.

I realized, that it would be extremely expensive to buy one of this size. So, I’ve painted it myself. I bought some canvas, wooden planks and with help of my husband, I build the frame and attached the canvas to it. Next – I covered it with primer. Than I just had fun for 6 months…

This is the painting I did for my living room.

So do not be afraid to try something you never done before. Just tell yourself that you can do it! And do it!

Long time ago I found this chair in the garbage. Fabric was old and dated , so I decided to reupholster it myself. Fabric choice wasn’t difficult, I already had draperies and pillows from same fabric.

It took me a while to take all staples out. I used old fabric parts as my template to cut new pieces of fabric.

It was my first experience with upholstery, I think I achived what I wanted.

I also added decorative pillow  with fringe.

Whether you are moving into new house or renovating your old good place, it’s worth consider the wall art. Wall art is an integral part of interior decor and can’t be ignored. In my opinion it’s as important as a wall color or the choice of the sofa fabric.
From this point you can choose from the closest department store or from an art gallery. The choice is yours: either a mass replica of Mona Lisa or unique work of unknown artist. Often both options may cost you same money.

Featured here are the two art works by Andrei Filippov:

Fireworks #1

Hydraulic

Both are photograph prints available in custom sizes and finishes, framed or non-framed from ImageKind.

Tea Cart

Hello everybody.

I love interior decor. And I love creative people!

I found this tea cart and took it home. Than I took it apart…. Guess what? It was in parts for about a year. Than I finally started to clean it, paint and look what I’ve created.
